To install the non-illuminated bathroom mirror and furniture from Better Bathroom, please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the installation guide. Here is a complete answer supported by the manual:
1. Before starting the installation, check the product for any damage.
2. For mirror installation:
- Measure the distance between the two fixing brackets on the rear of the mirror and mark this distance on the wall, ensuring it is horizontally aligned using a spirit level.
- We recommend a height of 70" (1778mm) from the floor for the brackets, but you can choose your preferred height.
- If installing on a stud wall, make sure the fixings are secured into a stud, not just the plasterboard.
- Drill holes in the wall using an 8mm drill bit to a depth of approximately 40mm.
- Insert wall plugs and tap them flush with the wall surface.
- Hold the bracket up to the wall over the drilled holes and secure it using the provided screws. Make sure the brackets on the rear of the mirror are fully tightened.
- Lift the mirror onto the wall-mounted brackets to engage both sections of the brackets.
- If desired, apply a bead of silicone around the edges of the mirror for added sealing.
3. For cabinet installation:
- Follow the same steps as mirror installation for measuring and marking the distance between the fixing brackets on the rear of the cabinet.
- We recommend a height of 27.5" (698mm) from the floor for the brackets, but it is your choice.
- Install the cabinet to a solid wall or secure the fixings into a stud if fitting to a stud wall.
- Set up the unit before installing the basin so that any necessary adjustments can be made.
- Drill holes in the wall using an 8mm drill bit to a depth of approximately 40mm.
- Insert wall plugs and tap them flush with the wall surface.
- Secure the wall brackets in place and ensure the brackets fitted to the unit are fully tightened.
- Lift the unit onto the wall-mounted brackets. If needed, make adjustments using the fitted adjusters on the inside of the unit.
- Once the unit is adjusted, fit the basin by applying a bead of silicone between the unit and basin for sealing and fixing.
- Also, run a bead of silicone along the back edge of the base where it meets the wall.
4. For door handle installation:
- Drill pilot holes on the doors where the handles will be fitted.
- Place the screws through the unit from inside the door and connect them to the handles. Tighten the screws.
5. For framed furniture assembly:
- Place the frame onto the unit and xxxx it to the unit through the holes in the frame, aligning it with the unit edge.
- Ensure the frame is fully secured before use.
6. For WC unit installation:
- Drill into the wall through the rear plinth of the WC unit.
- Fit the wall plug and place the xxxx through the washers, securing it to the wall.
