To clean the Miele STB101 Handheld Turbo brush, follow these steps:
1. Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the electrical supply before cleaning the Turbo brush. Switch off at the wall socket and unplug it.
2. Start by removing any threads or hairs that have become entangled on the roller brush. Use a pair of scissors to cut them, and then run the vacuum cleaner to vacuum up the bits.
3. If there are more obstinate tangles or blockages inside the Turbo brush, you can open the cover to access the brush compartment. To do this, twist the connector until the release button is located in the center of the slot.
4. Press the release button and pull the connector away from the Turbo brush. This will allow you to open up the brush compartment as far as possible.
5. Remove any stubborn soiling from the compartment interior and from the roller brush. You can use a dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
6. Once you have cleaned the brush compartment, close the cover and push the connector back into position over the release button.
