To install the Midea DSK45U5 Instant Electric Water Heater, follow these steps:
1. Check the capacity of the power circuit to ensure it can handle the water heater's requirements.
2. Install the power cord according to the wiring instructions provided in the manual.
3. Determine the installation position of the unit, considering the length of the power cord and the position of the air switch. The distance between the bottom of the unit and the floor should be at least 1.6m.
4. Ensure there is a minimum distance of 300mm between the unit and the surrounding wall for maintenance purposes.
5. Use the four fixing screws provided to mount the unit on the wall. Drill holes in the wall and insert wall plugs before driving in the screws.
6. Connect the wires and install the top cover of the unit.
7. Install a water valve with a filter at the water inlet of the unit, using a sealing ring with a filter.
8. Connect the shower flexible tube to the water outlets and the shower head, using sealing rings at the end faces.
9. Choose an air switch with leakage protection according to the power of the water heater.
10. Connect the live line (red/brown), neutral line (blue), and earth line (yellow/green) of the water heater to the corresponding lines in the electric network.
11. After all plumbing connections are made, open the water inlet valve of the product and supply water to the unit until there is a stable water flow from the shower head. Check for any leaks at the joints and tighten the connecting parts if necessary.
