To clean the coffee maker, follow these steps:
1. After approximately 60 uses, the Clean Light Button will flash, indicating that the coffee maker needs to be cleaned.
2. Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing 2 tablespoons of white vinegar with 1 carafe of cold water.
3. Pour the cleaning solution into the water reservoir.
4. Follow the normal operating instructions, but do not use a filter in the filter holder.
5. Press the CLEAN button.
6. Once the brew cycle is finished, empty the carafe and rinse it with water.
7. Repeat this process twice using only cold water to flush out any remaining vinegar solution.
8. Always unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing.
9. Wash removable parts in warm water with mild soap, but do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
10. Do not immerse the coffee maker, power cord, or plug in water or any liquids.
11. Clean the housing and warming plate with a clean, damp cloth.
12. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or using again.
