To install the GARDENA 8188 Water Smart Flow Meter, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Ensure that you have all the necessary components: Water Smart Flow Meter, connecting piece, and sealing rings.
2. Locate a suitable position for the flow meter. It should be installed horizontally and in an accessible location for reading the display.
3. Shut off the water supply before installation.
4. Connect the flow meter to the tap or water outlet. Use the included connecting piece and sealing rings to ensure a secure connection. Make sure to tighten the connections properly.
5. Connect the hose or irrigation device to the other end of the flow meter.
6. Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If there are any leaks, tighten the connections further.
7. Once the flow meter is installed, it will automatically start measuring the water flow.
8. To read the water consumption, press the button on the flow meter. The display will show the current flow rate and the total water consumption.
9. You can reset the total water consumption by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds.
