To unfold and set up the HoMedics FB-350 footbath, follow these steps:
1. Hold the base firmly and pull up the edge of the foot spa on one side at a time to unfold it (Fig. 1–3 in the manual).
2. Use the anti-collapse system to lock the unit. Pull out the metal props at the front and back of the foot spa and push them into place under the edge of the tub (Fig. 4–5).
3. Make sure the unit is unplugged before filling it with water. Fill the foot spa with warm water up to the MAX fill line located on the inside of the tub.
Note: The heat maintenance function only helps to maintain the temperature of water placed inside the foot spa. It will not heat cold water. For a warm water massage, fill the unit with warm water.
4. Place the foot spa on the floor in front of a chair, preferably on a towel.
5. Plug the unit into a 120V AC power supply.
6. Sit down and place your feet in the tub.
7. To operate the unit, press the power button on the back of the product.
Note: The heat maintenance function is automatically activated when the vibration massage is switched on. The vibration massage + heat maintenance should only be used with water.
8. Enjoy a deep massage by sliding your feet back and forth over the stimulating acu-nodes on the foot spa floor.
9. If desired, you can dissolve a small amount of bath salts into the water for a refreshing foot spa experience.
10. To turn off the unit, press the power button again to deactivate it.
11. To empty the foot spa, unplug the unit and pour out the water.
12. To store the foot spa, unlock the anti-collapse system by unclipping the metal props from under the edge of the tub and folding them away. Then fold the foot spa down by pressing down on the edges while holding the base firmly.
