To start recording with the Sony ICD-PX470 Stereo Digital Voice Recorder, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the included AAA batteries into the battery compartment of the recorder.
2. Press the POWER/HOLD switch to turn on the device.
3. Press the REC/PAUSE button to enter the recording standby mode.
4. Use the + or - buttons to select the desired recording mode (Normal, Focus, or Wide Stereo).
5. Adjust the recording level by pressing the VOL +/- buttons.
6. Press the REC/PAUSE button again to start recording. The REC indicator will light up, indicating that the device is recording.
7. To pause the recording, press the REC/PAUSE button again. The REC indicator will flash.
8. To resume recording, press the REC/PAUSE button once more.
9. To stop the recording, press the STOP button. The recording will be saved automatically.
