To install the Dimplex Optiflame Inset Fire, follow these steps:
1. Clean the area where the fire will be installed, removing any ash residue from an existing fireplace.
2. Hold the fire by the sides of the surround and gently maneuver it into position.
3. Plug the fire into a 13amp/240 volt outlet, ensuring that the supply cable is not trapped under the fire.
4. If the fire is being installed on an uneven surface, adjust the two adjustable feet at the rear of the fire by removing the screws and refitting them in the required position.
5. For extra stability, use the keyhole slot on the rear of the fire surround or spacer. Insert a xxxx and rawl plug into the wall, then lift the fire up and over the xxxx head so that the top edge of the slot on the fire engages behind the head of the xxxx .
6. If your model has a metal surround spacer, it can be removed by unscrewing the fixing screws at the rear of the product.
7. Arrange the fuelbed material on the fuelbed to your liking, following the instructions provided in the manual.
8. Once installed, ensure that the appliance is sitting on a level surface and that the supply cord is away from the front of the appliance.
