To change the threaded mandrel on the Metabo NMP 18 LTX BL M10 Cordless Rivet Nut Gun, follow these steps:
1. Remove the battery pack from the tool.
2. Undo the lock nut using a double open-end wrench.
3. Unscrew the nose piece.
4. Push the locking sleeve back as far as it will go.
5. Unscrew the threaded mandrel.
6. Align the new threaded mandrel with the hexagon surface in the locking sleeve.
7. xxxx on a new nose piece with a lock nut that matches the thread dimensions.
8. Secure the nose piece with the lock nut using a double open-end wrench.
