To reverse the door of the SEVERIN DT Series Refrigerator, please follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains power.
2. Remove all items from the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
3. Remove the fixing screws from the top cover of the freezer compartment.
4. Lift off the top cover.
5. Unscrew the upper hinge bracket and remove it. Be sure to support the door while doing this.
6. Remove the freezer door from the center hinge bracket.
7. Unscrew the hinge pin and nut from the center hinge bracket and re-insert it on the opposite side.
8. Undo the fixing screws on the center hinge bracket and remove it, along with the plastic plate.
9. Remove the refrigerator door from the lower hinge bracket.
10. Tilt the unit towards the rear.
11. Unscrew the lower hinge bracket and remove it.
12. Unscrew the hinge pin from the bracket and re-insert it from the other side.
13. Fit the lower hinge bracket on the opposite side.
14. Put washers on the hinge pin.
15. Replace the caps on the doors and the partition between the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
16. Fit the refrigerator door onto the pin of the lower hinge bracket.
17. Fit the pin of the center hinge bracket, along with the washers, to the refrigerator door.
18. Fit the center hinge bracket, along with the plastic plate.
19. Replace the top cover and secure it with the fixing screws.
20. Fit the two enclosed spacer elements into the corresponding guide slots on the rear.
21. Wait for about 4 hours before re-connecting the appliance to the mains if it has been tilted more than 30° during transport.
