To set up remote viewing on the Speco Gray Viewer Series Surveillance System, follow these steps:
1. Download and install the "Speco Gray Viewer" app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) on your mobile device.
2. Connect the NVR to the Internet by connecting it to your router using an Ethernet cable.
3. On your mobile device, open the Speco Gray app and go to the "Device" section.
4. Press "Add" or "Manual" to add a new device manually.
5. Press the QR code icon next to the Device ID field and scan the QR code on the NVR using your mobile device's camera.
6. Enter the client port (default: 9000), username, and password for the NVR. Press "Save" to finish the setup.
7. Now you should be able to access the live view of your surveillance system remotely through the Speco Gray app on your mobile device.
For remote viewing on a web browser:
1. Open a web browser on your PC.
2. Enter the LAN IP address of the NVR in the web browser's address bar if the NVR is on the same network as your PC.
3. If DDNS (Dynamic DNS) was set up, enter the DDNS address instead of the LAN IP address to access the NVR from a different network.
4. Log in using the username and password for the NVR.
5. You should now be able to access the live view and other features of the surveillance system through the web browser.
