To install the MAXI-COSI Family Fix 3 car seat base in your vehicle, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX anchorage points and that the seating position is i-Size compatible.
2. Connect the two ISOFIX connectors on the base to the ISOFIX anchorage points in your vehicle. Make sure they are securely attached.
3. Fully extend the support leg and place it in the most forward position. The support leg provides additional stability and safety.
4. Check the indicator panel on the base. The ISOFIX connector indicator, support leg indicator, car seat locked in position indicator, and older than 15 months indicator should all be green. If not, adjust the installation until all indicators are green.
5. To ensure correct installation, you can release the car seat from the base and put it back on. If all indicator panel lights turn green and you hear an audible feedback, the child restraint is installed correctly.
