To connect the speedlink SL-650110-BK Wireless gamepad to your PC, follow these steps:
1. Charge the gamepad using the USB-C connection cable. Connect the gamepad to a free USB port on your PC or another USB power source. The gamepad's LEDs will flash during charging, which takes up to 2 hours. Note that the initial charge may take longer.
2. Download the latest driver software from the Speedlink website at www.speedlink.com. Always use the latest driver software for the best performance.
3. Install the downloaded software on your PC.
4. Connect the USB receiver to a USB port on your PC.
5. Press and hold the "Mode" button on the gamepad for six seconds to switch between the gamepad's two modes of operation: XInput (for most of the latest games) and DirectInput (for older and some newer games). Set the gamepad to the desired mode before starting a game. Switching modes while a game is running may cause the controller to not be recognized correctly. If this happens, restart the game.
6. Test the gamepad's functions by opening the Windows Settings and searching for "Set up USB game controllers." In DirectInput mode, you will find options there for the vibration function. For XInput games, configure the vibration functions in the game's options settings. Note that vibration functions only work if supported by the game and if the relevant option is enabled in the game's settings.
