To install the konect CUL 37800 2-Way Motorized Extension Socket, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: The socket should be installed on a solid horizontal surface such as a kitchen worktop, office desk, reception desk, caravan, or dressing table.
2. Measure and mark the hole: Use the external dimensions provided in the manual (443x115mm) to mark the location where the socket will be installed. The hole cut-out size should be 100mm.
3. Cut the hole: Carefully cut out the marked hole using appropriate tools, ensuring that the dimensions are accurate.
4. Connect the power supply: Connect the socket to a power source within the rated voltage range (AC100-264V) and rated frequency (50/60Hz).
5. Securely install the socket: Place the socket into the cut-out hole and ensure it is securely fixed in place. This is important for safe operation.
6. Power up the socket: Press and hold the button on the top of the unit for 3 seconds to power up the socket.
7. Raise or lower the socket: Once the socket is powered up, simply touch the button on the top to raise or lower the socket as needed.
Note: The socket is equipped with an anti-collision function, which will pause the raising operation if an obstruction is encountered. To resume normal operation, press the button on the top of the unit again. Similarly, the anti-pinch function will reverse the closing direction and pause movement if the unit is obstructed during closing. Press the button again to resume normal closing operation.
