To set up and operate the BE POWER EQUIPMENT 35.410.022 Air Hydraulic Axle Jack, please follow these steps:
1. Before use, visually inspect the device for any abnormal conditions such as cracked welds, leaks, and damaged, loose, or missing parts.
2. Consult the vehicle owner's manual to determine the location of lift points.
3. Set the vehicle in park with the emergency brake on and wheels securely chocked.
4. Ensure that both the vehicle and the jack are on a hard, level surface.
5. Place a few drops of air lubricant into the inlet of the lift control valve.
6. Once the air is connected, squeeze the air control valve for 3 to 5 seconds to distribute the lubricant within the system. Note: It is recommended to use an in-line air dryer and oiler to extend the life of the product.
7. Insert the handle assembly into the handle fork and tighten the locking nut to prevent accidental disengagement. Ensure that the position locking rod is securely engaged before use.
8. To lift the load, turn the release valve clockwise to the closed position. Position the jack under the specified lift point and begin lifting by pumping the handle up and down.
9. If the jack does not properly respond, follow the air bleeding steps provided in the manual.
10. Immediately after lifting, support the vehicle with appropriately rated jack stands.
11. To lower the vehicle, turn the release valve clockwise to the closed position. Activate the control valve to lift the vehicle off the jack stands. Remove the jack stands and slowly turn the release valve counterclockwise to lower the vehicle onto the ground. Note: Never turn the release valve more than one-half of a turn to avoid a rapid drop rate.
12. After safely removing the load, ensure that the ram and the handle sleeve are both fully in the down position to reduce exposure to rust and contaminants.
Please refer to the manual for additional information on maintenance, troubleshooting, and storage of the jack.
