To install and start the F F GROUP CWSP, DWSP Rainwater Pump, follow these steps:
1. Read the operating instructions carefully before assembling and starting the pump.
2. Ensure that the pump is not used by persons who are not thoroughly acquainted with the instructions handbook.
3. Keep children and persons under the age of 16 away from the pump when it is connected.
4. Connect the pump only by means of a safety switch for fault currents, with a rated opening current up to 30 mA and a socket with an earth contact installed in conformity with the regulations.
5. Make sure the voltage (230 Volts alternating current) indicated on the pump's rating plate corresponds to the available mains voltage.
6. Before starting, ensure that there are necessary electrical protection measures in place, including earth connection, earthed neutral, and a safety switch for fault currents.
7. Connect the pump and the system with no voltage before checking.
8. Use a pipe connecting the appliance (extension) that is no lighter than a rubber hose mod. H07 RNF in conformity with the DIN57282 or DIN 57245 standard.
9. For the "DRAINAGE" pump, ensure that it is not used for pumping sewage or sandy water. The pump must never run dry.
10. For the "VORTEX" pump, ensure that it is not used for pumping sewage, sandy water, or other abrasive liquids. The pump must never run dry.
11. Install the pump in a raised position with respect to the bottom of the well to avoid sucking up the muddy bottom with the water.
12. Do not handle or hang the pump by gripping the power supply cable.
13. For maintenance, disconnect the plug before every maintenance job.
14. For transportable use, wash the pump with clear water after every use.
15. For fixed installation, check the operation of the floating switch every 3 months and remove any deposits from the pump casing and inlet filter.
16. Every 3 months, remove mud from the bottom and walls of the well and clean the floating switch with fresh water.
17. Protect the pump from frost.
18. Dispose of the product properly according to the regulations for the treatment, recovery, and recycling of electric and electronic equipment.
19. The product is warranted according to legal/country-specific regulations, and damage attributable to normal wear and tear, overload, or improper handling is excluded from the guarantee.
