To install the Canon IP8720 wireless printer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have enough installation space for the printer.
2. Open the box and check the contents. The box should include the printer, power cord, setup CD-ROM, and ink tanks.
3. Before connecting the printer to your computer, make sure not to connect the USB cable yet.
4. If the Alarm lamp on the printer flashes orange, press the ON button to turn off the printer and then redo the previous step.
5. Remove any orange tape from the printer, ensuring not to touch any sensitive parts. If the Alarm lamp flashes orange, check that the ink tanks are installed correctly.
6. If the Alarm lamp continues to flash orange, press the RESUME/CANCEL button and proceed to the next step.
7. Install the software on your devices by inserting the setup CD-ROM into your computer and following the on-screen instructions.
8. Once the software is installed, you can start printing. Make sure to change the printer settings for media type and size before printing. Refer to the On-screen Manual or Online Manual for detailed instructions.
9. Before printing, it is recommended to perform print head alignment. If the Alarm lamp flashes orange, press the RESUME/CANCEL button and proceed with the alignment.
10. You can now start using your Canon IP8720 wireless printer.
