To set up the Amazon Basics WP25 Surge Protector Power Strip with Alexa, follow these steps:
1. Connect the power strip to an outlet.
2. Download the latest version of the Alexa app from the app store on your phone or tablet.
3. Open the Alexa app and tap the "More" icon on the bottom-right side of the screen.
4. Tap "Add a Device".
5. Select "Plug" -> "Amazon Basics" -> Select your device accordingly.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions. If prompted by the app, scan the 2D barcode on the back of the power strip.
7. Once the setup is complete, the power strip will be set up as three plugs in the Alexa app.
8. To control the power strip, tap "Devices" -> "Plugs" in the Alexa app.
9. From there, you can control each plug individually.
Additionally, you can set up routines by tapping "More" -> "Routines" in the Alexa app. This allows you to create personalized routines for the power strip, such as setting a schedule for it to automatically turn on or off.
