To adjust the run-on time of the extractor fan using the ADDVENT AVA 351 Remote Fan Timer, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the electrical load of the extractor fan is within the range of 20W to 200W.
2. Install the ADDVENT AVA 351 Remote Fan Timer in a standard 68mm, 2 or 4-lug recessed wall box.
3. Before making any electrical connections, switch off the main power supply.
4. Use a double pole switched and fused spur with a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles. This should be installed outside any room containing the shower or bath and should not be accessible to anyone using the shower or bath.
5. Ensure that all wiring is fixed securely and complies with current IEE regulations. The conductors should have a minimum of 1mm cross-section.
6. Once the wiring is complete, you can adjust the run-on time of the extractor fan using the timer adjustment control. The timer range is from 1 to 60 minutes.
7. Turn the timer adjustment control clockwise to increase the run-on time or counterclockwise to decrease it. The desired run-on time should be set after the room light is extinguished.
8. After adjusting the run-on time, ensure that the main power supply is switched on.
