To connect the HDMI 1x4 HDBaseT Splitter, follow these steps:
1. Connect your HDMI source device (such as a DVD player or set-top box) to the HDMI input port on the transmitter using an HDMI cable.
2. If you want to connect a display device directly to the splitter, connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI loop output port on the transmitter to the HDMI input port on the display device.
3. For each display device you want to connect via HDBaseT, connect a CAT6/6a/7 cable from the HDBaseT output port on the transmitter to the HDBaseT input port on the corresponding HDBaseT receiver.
4. Connect the HDMI output port on each HDBaseT receiver to the HDMI input port on the respective display device using an HDMI cable.
5. Connect the audio output ports (coaxial and/or L/R audio) on the transmitter and HDBaseT receivers to your audio system or speakers, if desired.
6. Connect the IR blaster cable from the IR OUT port on the transmitter to the IR IN port on the HDBaseT receiver, and connect the IR receiver cable from the IR OUT port on the HDBaseT receiver to the IR IN port on the transmitter.
7. Connect the RS-232 control cable from the RS-232 port on the transmitter to a PC or control system, if needed.
8. Finally, plug the power adapter into the DC 24V port on the transmitter and connect it to a power outlet. The HDBaseT receivers can also be powered by the transmitter via the CAT6/6a/7 cables.
