To set up the Siretta QUARTZ-GOLD Enabling Industrial IoT router, follow these steps:
1. Use a paperclip or SIM Card Removal Tool to eject the SIM tray on the router.
2. Insert a SIM card into the SIM tray and close it securely.
3. xxxx the cellular antenna to the main antenna connector on the router. Connect the Wi-Fi antennas marked "Wi-Fi1" and "Wi-Fi2" by twisting the antenna connectors clockwise until they are firmly connected. If you have a GPS router, connect the GPS antenna to the GPS connector on the router.
4. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into the router LAN port and the other end into an Ethernet port on your PC.
5. Plug the green power connector on the power adapter cable into the router. Connect the 2.1mm centre pin connector from the plug-top power supply to the other end of the power adapter cable.
6. Depending on your geographical location, select the appropriate connector type for your power adaptor (UK/EU/USA/AU) and plug the power adaptor into the mains.
7. Switch on the power. Refer to the table in the manual for LED indications when the router is powered on.
8. Obtain the IP address of your router from the silver label on the back of the router. Type the IP address into your PC browser and enter the following credentials when prompted: User name: admin, Password: admin. These are the factory default credentials, and you can set your own user name and password in the router settings.
9. On the router GUI, navigate to the Basic Network > Cellular tab. Enter the APN details for the network provider of your SIM card (e.g., APN, Username, Password). You do not need to enter any Proxy or Port details.
10. Click "Save". The router will reboot itself and then connect to the network. It is now ready for use with your application.
If you encounter any issues accessing the router GUI, please check your local area network settings. For more information and detailed instructions, you can refer to the Siretta QUARTZ-GOLD Enabling Industrial IoT User Guide available for download on the Siretta website or contact Siretta support.
