To install the C-LITE C-AR-A-DDA Series LED Dusk to Dawn Light, follow these steps:
1. For direct mounting:
- Remove the cover plate from the fixture and attach the supply conduit using either knockout on the cover plate.
- Use the fixture to mark the intended locations for the lag bolts on the mounting surface.
- Install two lower lag bolts into the mounting surface, leaving 1/4" (6.4 mm) spacing between the bolt heads and the surface.
- Wire the black fixture lead to the incoming voltage supply or Hot 1 lead, and the white fixture lead to the incoming neutral (Common) or Hot 2 lead. Attach the bare copper or green ground fixture lead to the incoming ground lead.
- Slide the fixture onto the two lag bolts installed in step 3 and install a third lag bolt in the top slot of the fixture. Secure all lag bolts.
- Secure the cover plate with the provided machine screws, washers, and nuts.
- Install the photo-control by aligning the arrow on the top of the photo-control with the arrow on the photo-control socket and inserting the pins into the socket. Twist the photo-control clockwise until the arrow on the photo-control is pointing north.
2. For arm mounting using the Arm Kit C-ACC-A-SMDDPOLE-GR:
- Loosely install two carriage bolts with lock washers and nuts into the wall mounting bracket.
- Install the wall mounting bracket to the mounting surface using the provided lag bolts.
- Remove the cover plate from the fixture and discard it, along with the screws, washers, and nuts.
- Insert the short end of the arm into the mounting bracket and adjust it to the desired direction. Tighten the carriage bolts.
- Feed the ground wire up through the arm and the black and white fixture wires down through the arm.
- Secure the housing to the arm using two hex bolts and arm brackets.
- Install a green ground xxxx onto the arm bracket at the location marked "GND" and tighten it to the ground wire.
- Wire the black fixture lead to the incoming voltage supply or Hot 1 lead, and the white fixture lead to the incoming neutral (Common) or Hot 2 lead. Attach the bare copper or green ground fixture lead to the incoming ground lead.
- Install the photo-control as described in step 1.
3. For arm mounting using an existing arm:
- Remove the cover plate from the fixture and discard it, along with the screws, washers, and nuts.
