The JET INC 952 UV 1500 Series BAT Media Plants use a wastewater treatment process called Biologically Accelerated Treatment (BaT®). In this process, millions of microorganisms attach themselves to the media in the plant. The Jet aerator supplies oxygen to these microorganisms, which convert the waste into colorless, odorless liquids and gases. This process provides a high degree of treatment. The plant has three compartments - the Pretreatment Compartment, the Treatment Compartment, and the Settling Compartment. The wastewater flows through these compartments, receiving physical and biological treatment, and fine particles settle in the Settling Compartment. The clear, odorless liquid is then discharged. The control panel, aerator, and media packs are important components of the system, and regular maintenance and service are recommended.
