To install the ELVITA CTC4860V Washer Dryer, follow these steps:
1. Before installing, check for any externally visible damage. Do not install or use a damaged product.
2. Ensure that the machine is not installed in a bathroom, a very wet room, or a room with high humidity. It should also not be installed in a room with explosive or caustic gases, or behind a lockable or sliding door.
3. Adequate ventilation must be provided to avoid the backflow of gases into the room from appliances burning other fuels.
4. Remove all packaging and transport bolts before using the product. Keep all packaging material away from children.
5. Connect the product to water and electrical supplies by a suitably qualified person in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and local safety regulations.
6. Make sure to connect the power plug to an earthed three-pole socket and ensure that the power plug is accessible after installation.
7. When leveling the machine, tighten the lock nuts on all four feet against the housing.
8. If applicable, ensure that the ventilation openings in the base of the product are not obstructed.
9. Use the new hose sets supplied with the product and do not reuse old hose sets.
10. The inlet hose must be connected to the cold water supply. Do not kink, crush, modify, or sever the water inlet hose.
11. Position the drain hose properly to avoid water leaks if it is damaged. Do not kink or stretch the drain hose.
12. If the drain hose is too long, do not force it into the machine as it may cause unusual noises.
