To change the Wi-Fi name and password on your TCL Linkzone MW42L 4G LTE Cat4 Mobile Hotspot, follow these steps:
1. Connect to the device: Make sure you are connected to the TCL Linkzone MW42L hotspot network on your wireless device.
2. Access the web UI: Open a web browser on the device connected to the Linkzone network and go to http://192.168.1.1.
3. Log in: Enter the login information as required. You can find the default login information on the label inside your Linkzone.
4. Go to Wi-Fi Settings: Once logged in, navigate to Devices Settings > Wi-Fi Settings > SSID Settings.
5. Change the Wi-Fi name (SSID): In the SSID Settings section, you can set three SSID presets (Main SSID, SSID1, and SSID2). Enter your desired Wi-Fi network name in the appropriate field.
6. Change the Wi-Fi password: In the same SSID Settings section, set a new password for your Wi-Fi network in the Pass Phrase field. You can also check the "Display Password" option to view the password while typing.
7. Apply the changes: Click on the Apply button to save the new Wi-Fi name and password settings.
Your TCL Linkzone MW42L 4G LTE Cat4 Mobile Hotspot will now have a new Wi-Fi network name and password. Make sure to update the Wi-Fi settings on your connected devices to connect to the new network.
