To install the in your Lenovo ThinkSystem server, follow these steps:
1. Power off your server and unplug it from the power source.
2. Open the server chassis and locate an available PCIe slot.
3. Remove the adapter from its packaging and align it with the PCIe slot.
4. Gently insert the adapter into the slot, ensuring that it is fully seated.
5. Secure the adapter in place using the provided bracket and screws.
6. Connect the fiber optic cables to the SFP+ ports on the adapter.
7. Connect the other end of the fiber optic cables to your Fibre Channel storage system.
8. Close the server chassis and reconnect the power source.
9. Power on your server and allow it to boot up.
