The Govee H1061 Double Sided Tape is designed to provide a strong and secure hold for the Glide Light Panels. However, if you need to remove the panels or reposition them, the removal process is relatively simple.
To remove the panels, follow these steps:
1. Press the adhesive tab: Locate the adhesive tab on the back of the light panels. Press firmly on the tab to create a separation between the adhesive and the wall.
2. Pull the adhesive tab: Once you have pressed the tab, gently pull it away from the wall. This will gradually detach the adhesive from the surface.
3. Safely remove: Continue pulling the adhesive tab until the entire strip of tape is removed from the wall. Take care not to pull too forcefully, as this may damage the wall surface.
4. Done: Once the adhesive tape is completely removed, you can safely remove the light panels from the wall.
Regarding residue, the Govee H1061 Double Sided Tape is designed to minimize residue upon removal. However, it is always recommended to test a small, inconspicuous area of your wall before applying the tape to ensure compatibility with your specific wall surface. If any residue does occur, it can typically be easily cleaned using a mild adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol.
