To assemble the Sealey YK30XF.V3 30 Tonne Floor Type Hydraulic Press, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the product and check for any damaged or missing parts. Contact your supplier immediately if there are any issues.
2. Assemble the frame by placing the upright frames horizontally on a bench with the bracket plates facing outwards. Position the lower cross member and base sections and secure them with bolts, washers, lock washers, and nuts. Then, position the frame supports and secure them with bolts, washers, lock washers, and nuts. Finally, place the upper cross beam at the top of the press frame and secure it with bolts, washers, lock washers, and nuts.
3. Attach the ram support plate by sliding rollers onto shafts at each end of connecting rods and securing them with retaining rings. Position the ram support plate to the underside of the upper cross beam. Place a spring onto a bolt and then through clearance holes in the connecting rod. Repeat this on the other connecting rod. Position the connecting rod and rollers onto the internal sliding bars located on the upper cross beam. Clamp the ram support plate and connect rods by screwing them to full-depth bolts and lock them into position with screws.
4. Attach the ram assembly by inserting it through the hole in the ram support plate and securing it with screws.
5. Attach the pump assembly by fitting it and securing it with bolts and washers to the upright.
6. Pass the table support pins through the holes on the press frame uprights at the desired height. Fit the retaining clips to the table support pins. Then, tip the bed frame into a diagonal position so that it can be introduced between the mainframe uprights, and carefully lower it back to a horizontal position to rest on the table support pins, between the retaining clips.
7. Place the V-blocks in the required orientation onto the bed frame.
8. Finally, remove the dust cap hex bolt from the gauge connection nut positioned at the top of the ram assembly. xxxx the pressure gauge and nylon ring in until tight. Do not over-tighten. Push fit the pump handle into the pump assembly.
