To connect the DS18 CANDY-X1B amplifier to your car audio system, follow these steps:
1. Connect the high-level input terminals to the high-level output of your head unit or other audio source using speaker wire.
2. Connect the left and right channel inputs of the amplifier to the preamplifier outputs of your head unit or external electronic crossover using RCA cables.
3. Adjust the gain xxxx for volume adjustment according to your preference.
4. Use the bass boost xxxx to increase the bass level. The boost ranges from 0dB to 18dB.
5. Adjust the boost frequency xxxx to set the frequency range for the bass boost. The boost frequency ranges from 40Hz to 100Hz.
6. Use the low pass frequency xxxx to adjust the low pass filter. The frequency ranges from 50Hz to 150Hz.
7. Use the phase control switch to adjust the phase of the amplifier. The phase ranges from 0-180°.
8. Connect the remote controller outlet to the remote controller, which helps to boost the gain. Make sure to turn the volume xxxx to maximum before using the remote.
9. Connect the ground terminal to the car chassis. Keep the length of the ground cable to a minimum.
10. Connect the REM terminal to the remote cable, which comes from the source and controls the amplifier switching on. The applied voltage must be between 10 and 17V DC.
11. Connect the +12V terminal to the anode of the car battery.
12. Make sure to use the correct fuse rating and replace it with the same power fuse if needed.
