The installation process for the Bradford White BMFTHW Residential Wall Mounted Boiler is as follows:
1. The contractor should supply and install the specified quantity of Bradford White Model No. BMFTHW modulating, condensing boilers.
2. The boiler should be a Laars Mascot FT Model MFTHW, rated at the input and output shown on the schedule.
3. The boiler should be design-certified to comply with the current edition of the Harmonized ANSI Z21.13 / CSA 4.9 Standard for Gas-Fired Low Pressure Steam and Hot Water Boilers.
4. The unit should be designed and constructed in accordance with the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section IV requirements for 30 psi maximum working pressure, and should bear the ASME "H" Stamp and be listed by the National Board.
5. The boiler should be constructed to comply with the efficiency requirements of the latest edition of ASHRAE Standard 90.1.
6. The boiler should be equipped with an ASME certified pressure relief valve set at 30psi.
7. The boiler should be listed with the U.S. Department of Energy as an Energy Star appliance and with AHRI (Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute).
8. The boiler should have a minimum AFUE of 95%.
It is important to note that the installation of the boiler should be carried out by a qualified contractor who is familiar with the installation requirements and local codes. The installation manual provided by Bradford White should be followed carefully to ensure proper installation and safe operation of the boiler.
