To connect the AMCREST ASH21-V3 SmartHome camera to the Amcrest Smart Home app, follow these steps:
1. Download the Amcrest Smart Home app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or App Store (for iOS).
2. Open the app and tap on "Register" to create an account. If you already have an account, log in.
3. After logging in, tap on "Add Device" to start the camera setup process.
4. Make sure to allow all notification and location permissions for the app to connect to your mobile device.
5. Scan the QR code located on the bottom of your camera using the app's QR code scanner. If you can't scan the QR code, you can manually enter the serial number (S/N) by tapping on "Manually enter SN".
6. If you choose to manually enter the S/N, select the device you are adding from the list.
7. Choose your preferred setup method:
- Wi-Fi (Recommended): This method allows you to connect the camera to your network via Wi-Fi using the camera's built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Ethernet Only Setup: This method uses an Ethernet connection to connect the camera to the network. If you want to enable Wi-Fi, you can do so after the initial setup.
8. Once the camera is successfully connected to the app, it will appear in the "Devices" menu of the Amcrest Smart Home app.
