To install the GRANBERG Unilift 870 Complete with Hand Control in a cabinet, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the dimensions of the cabinet are suitable for the size of the lift and the space required for the load. A standard cabinet with an inside height of 67 cm and a minimum depth of 56 cm is sufficient.
2. Place the lift at the bottom of the cabinet, approximately 1 cm from the front edge. Use screws to fix the lift in all 8 holes of the bottom frame.
3. Fix the upper part of the lift to the wall. Fill the space between the lift and the wall with a suitable wooden joist.
4. Connect the lift to a separate mains switch, which should be placed in the vicinity of the lift. Install a double electric socket (230 V or 120 V, depending on the model) in the cabinet. This socket will also power any electrically operated device placed on the lift's platform. Ensure that the socket does not interfere with the motion of the lift.
5. Be careful with the location and fastening of the cables to prevent damage.
6. An authorized electrician must make the electric installation.
7. Once the lift is installed, connect it to the electric socket and operate it to the top position.
8. Fix the platform onto the lift rack using six wood screws. The platform has markings indicating the location of the screws.
9. Place the hand-held control button in the cabinet or on the inside of the cabinet door. This ensures that the lift cannot be operated before the door has been opened. You can use the suspension hook provided with the push button box or use the self-adhesive Velcro pads included in the package. If using the Velcro pads, remove the hook from the push button box and attach the pads to the backside of the control unit.
10. After installation, perform a complete functional test with a full load. Run the lift up and down to the end positions, checking for smooth and unhindered movement. Ensure that no cables or hoses are jammed.
