To adjust the recording quality on the Olympus VN4100 Digital Voice Recorder, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the MENU button for 1 second or longer while the recorder is stopped.
2. Use the + or - button to select "Recording Modes" from the menu options.
3. Press the PLAY button to confirm the selection.
4. Use the + or - button to choose the desired recording quality mode: XHQ (extra high-quality sound recording), HQ (high-quality sound recording), SP (standard recording), or LP (long-term recording).
5. Press the PLAY button to confirm the selection.
6. Press the STOP button to exit the menu.
Please note that the available recording time may vary depending on the selected recording quality mode. Refer to the specifications section of the instruction manual for more information on recording times for each mode.
