To connect the PROLED Easy Stand Alone USB and WiFi DMX Controller to your computer or smartphone, you have two options: Access Point Mode and Client Mode.
1. Access Point Mode: In this mode, you can connect your computer/smartphone directly to the controller. The default network name is "Smart DMX Interface XXXXXX" (where X is the serial number). For serial numbers below 179001, the default password is 00000000. For serial numbers above 179000, the default password is smartdmx0000.
2. Client Mode: In this mode, you can connect the controller to an existing local network. By default, the controller is set to get an IP address from the router via DHCP. If the network doesn't work with DHCP, you can manually set an IP address and subnet mask. If the network has a firewall enabled, make sure to allow port 2430.
