To properly set up the Bestway 57397 Above Ground Portable Fast Set Pool, follow these steps:
1. Choose the correct location: The pool must be set up on a completely flat and level surface. Clear the area of any objects and debris. Position the pool away from objects that children could use to climb into the pool.
2. Installation: Do not use a high-pressure air hose or over-inflate the top ring. The base or bottom of the pool should be laid out properly, without wrinkles. Connect a garden hose to the adapter located on the inflatable top ring to activate the water sprayers. When water sprayers are engaged, open the valve located on the upper outside wall to drain excess water. Close the valve when water sprayers are not active.
3. Filling the pool with water: Fill the water until the wall is straight up and the water reaches the welding line. Do not overfill the pool, as this could cause it to collapse. Check that the water is not collecting on any side to ensure the pool is level.
4. Pool maintenance: Always keep your pool clean and apply the correct pool chemicals. Clean the PVC liner regularly with non-abrasive brushes or a pool vacuum cleaner. Check the filter cartridge regularly and replace dirty cartridges. Regularly check the screws, bolts, and all metal parts for rust. Cover the pool when not in use.
5. Repair: In the event of a leak, patch your pool using the underwater adhesive repair patch provided.
6. Dismantling: Unscrew the drain valve cap and connect the adaptor to the hose. xxxx the control ring of the hose adaptor onto the drain valve to open it and allow water to drain. Deflate the top ring and tilt it to drain the pool easily. Completely drain the water in the pool, then close the valve and disconnect the hose.
7. Storage: Remove all accessories and spare parts, store them clean and dry. Sprinkle the pool with talcum powder to prevent sticking, then fold it carefully. Store the liner and accessories in a dry place with a moderate temperature. During the rainy season, follow the same storage instructions.
