To clean and descale the DOMO DO9134WK Water Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not use any chemical, abrasive, or scouring cleaning products.
3. Regularly clean the removable filter.
4. To descale the kettle, you can use a liquid descaler or a non-toxic cleaning product specifically designed for removing scale buildup.
5. Alternatively, you can follow these steps for descaling:
a. Fill the water kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar.
b. Add water until the kettle is full (up to the maximum level).
c. Let the vinegar and water solution soak overnight. Do not boil this liquid.
d. Pour away the solution and rinse the kettle.
e. Stains that remain in the spout can be removed by rubbing it with a damp cloth.
f. Fill the kettle with clean water, boil it, and pour away the water.
g. Repeat the boiling process with clean water once more.
6. After descaling, the water kettle is ready for use again.
