To set up the JBL BAR 1000 Dolby Atmos Soundbar with detachable surround speakers, follow these steps:
1. Unpack all the components from the box, including the main soundbar, wireless subwoofer, and detachable surround speakers.
2. Place the main soundbar in front of your TV, either on a TV stand or mounted on the wall using the included wall-mounting brackets.
3. Connect the main soundbar to your TV using an HDMI cable. If your TV supports HDMI eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI eARC port on both the soundbar and the TV. If your TV does not support HDMI eARC, you can use the HDMI-in ports on the soundbar instead.
4. Connect any additional devices, such as Blu-ray players or game consoles, to the HDMI-in ports on the soundbar.
5. Connect the wireless subwoofer to a power source and place it in the desired location within the room. The subwoofer will automatically connect to the soundbar wirelessly.
6. If you want to use the detachable surround speakers, connect them to a power source and place them in the desired locations within the room. The surround speakers will also automatically connect to the soundbar wirelessly.
7. Power on the soundbar, subwoofer, and surround speakers. They should automatically pair with each other and the soundbar should detect the presence of the subwoofer and surround speakers.
8. Use the included remote control or the JBL ONE app to adjust the settings, customize the sound, and control the playback.
