To determine the reference values for the threshold current and threshold temperature in ASRock Blazing OC Tuner software, you can follow the steps outlined in the user guide.
1. Determining the reference value for the threshold current:
- Boot into the operating system and open Blazing OC Tuner.
- Go to the System Info tab.
- Install and run Cinebench R23.
- Press Start to run the "CPU (Single core)" benchmark.
- While the benchmark is running, monitor the "Current" shown on the System Info tab in Blazing OC Tuner.
- Take note of the current range displayed during the benchmark.
2. Applying manual OC settings:
- Go to the Settings tab in Blazing OC Tuner.
- Select OC mode and adjust the values according to your CPU. For example, you can set the CPU frequency and Vcore values.
- Click Apply and then OK to confirm the changes.
3. Determining the reference value for the threshold temperature:
- Go to the System Info tab in Blazing OC Tuner.
- Run Cinebench R23.
- Press Start to run the "CPU (Multi core)" benchmark.
- While the benchmark is running, monitor the "CPU Temperature" shown on the System Info tab in Blazing OC Tuner.
- Take note of the temperature range reached during the benchmark.
4. Optimizing the Blazing OC Tuner settings:
- Go to the Settings tab and select Blazing OC Tuner.
- Adjust the parameters based on the reference values obtained in steps 1 and 3.
- The CPU Frequency and CPU Core Voltage should be the same as the values set for manual OC mode.
- Set the Current Threshold to switch to OC mode to a value higher than the current obtained in step 1.
- Set the Calibrated Temperature Threshold to switch to PBO to a suitable value based on the temperature obtained in step 3.
By following these steps, you can determine the reference values for the threshold current and threshold temperature in ASRock Blazing OC Tuner software and optimize the settings for your system.
