To adjust the amount of chlorine dispensed by the NELSEN 400 Non-Electric Dry Chlorine Pellet Feeder, you need to rotate the top cap (No. 7) to select the desired hole. There are seven positions available for varying the amount of chemical feed. Each hole in the cap has two hole selections, with the smaller hole dispensing the greatest amount of chlorine. Selecting a lower hole on the cap will increase the output. The approximate chlorine readings in parts per million (PPM) for each hole are as follows: 1 = 2 PPM, A = 3.5 PPM, 2 = 8 PPM, B = 13 PPM, 3 = 30 PPM, C = 40 PPM. The off position, with no holes showing, dispenses chlorine at a concentration of 60 PPM or higher. Please note that these readings are obtained under specific conditions and may vary depending on factors such as pressure tank size, water flow, and pump characteristics.
