To clean and descale the Bosch TWK 7507 Electric Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Pull out the mains plug and ensure the kettle is unplugged before cleaning.
2. Wipe down the jug and base on the outside with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh or abrasive detergents.
3. Remove the limescale filter and place it in a mixture of vinegar and clean water for a few hours. Alternatively, you can use a commercially available descaling agent according to the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Rinse the jug and limescale filter with clean water.
5. Regular descaling is recommended to prolong the life of the appliance, ensure proper functioning, avoid the risk of injury, and save energy.
6. To descale the jug, fill it up to the 1.7L (max) marking with water without vinegar or descaling agent and bring it to a boil.
7. Add a small amount of white vinegar to the hot water and let the kettle stand for several hours. Alternatively, follow the instructions of the descaling agent you are using.
8. Rinse the jug and limescale filter with clean water after descaling.
9. If you use the kettle daily, it is recommended to descale it more frequently.
Note: Never immerse the appliance in water or place it in the dishwasher. Do not steam-clean the appliance.
