To set up and synchronize the Monoprice 600059 UHF Dual Handheld Wireless Microphones System, follow these steps:
1. Place the receiver in a location close to where the performance will take place, ensuring it is at least 5 feet away from any large metal objects or wall/ceiling structures for a strong RF signal.
2. Connect the two antennas to the ANT A and ANT B connectors on the rear panel of the receiver.
3. Plug one end of the included AC Power Adapter into the DC INPUT jack on the rear panel of the receiver, and the other end into a nearby AC power outlet.
4. Momentarily press the POWER button on the receiver to turn it on.
5. Prepare each handheld microphone for use by following these steps:
a. Turn the Battery Cover counterclockwise to unscrew it and remove it from the microphone body.
b. Press the latch on the Battery Compartment Cover to open it and access the Battery Compartment.
c. Install two AA batteries (available separately) into the Battery Compartment, matching the polarity markings.
d. Close the Battery Compartment Cover.
e. Slide the Battery Cover onto the microphone body and turn it clockwise to secure it.
f. Momentarily press the POWER/MUTE button on the handheld microphone to turn it on.
6. To manually set the receiver frequency:
a. If the receiver is not already powered on, momentarily press the POWER button to turn it on.
b. Press the SET button three times until the FREQUENCY display starts flashing.
c. Use the ▲/▼ buttons to change the displayed FREQUENCY.
d. When the desired FREQUENCY is displayed, press the SET button to save it.
7. To automatically set the receiver frequency:
a. If the receiver is not already powered on, momentarily press the POWER button to turn it on.
b. Press the SET button two times until the FREQUENCY display shows SC.An.
c. Press the ▲ button to start scanning for an available frequency.
d. When an available frequency is found, the display will show the FREQUENCY flashing. Press the SET button to save it or press the ▲ button to continue scanning.
8. To synchronize the handheld microphone with the receiver:
a. Set the frequency on the receiver using the manual or automatic method mentioned above.
b. If the handheld microphone is not already powered on, momentarily press the Power/Mute button to turn it on.
c. Press the SET button on the receiver. The FREQUENCY display will show IR.--.
d. Position the I.R. interface on the handheld microphone in front of the I.R. interface on the receiver to begin synchronization.
e. When synchronization is complete, the FREQUENCY display on the receiver will show the frequency in use.
