To connect your Optoma ZW300UST DLP Projector to your laptop, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both the projector and your laptop are powered off.
2. Locate the HDMI or VGA port on your laptop. Most laptops have an HDMI port, but if your laptop only has a VGA port, you will need an HDMI to VGA adapter.
3. Connect one end of the HDMI cable (or HDMI to VGA adapter) to the HDMI port on your laptop.
4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input port on the back of the projector.
5. Power on both the projector and your laptop.
6. On the projector's remote control, press the "Source" button to select the HDMI input source.
7. On your laptop, go to the display settings and select the appropriate display mode (e.g., duplicate, extend, or projector only) to ensure that the projector is recognized as the display device.
8. Adjust the projector's focus and keystone correction as needed for optimal image quality.
