To connect the Fluance speakers to your home theater system, you will need speaker wire and a compatible amplifier or receiver. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Determine the speaker placement: Decide where you want to place the speakers in your room. Refer to the user guide for recommended speaker placement.
2. Prepare the speaker wire: Cut the speaker wire to the desired length, leaving enough slack to reach from the amplifier or receiver to each speaker.
3. Strip the speaker wire: Strip the insulation from the ends of the speaker wire to expose the bare wire.
4. Connect the speaker wire to the speakers: For each speaker, identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the back of the speaker. Insert the bare wire into the corresponding terminals, ensuring that the positive wire is connected to the positive terminal and the negative wire is connected to the negative terminal. You can use the standard method or banana plug method described in the user guide.
5. Connect the other end of the speaker wire to the amplifier or receiver: Identify the corresponding speaker output terminals on the amplifier or receiver. Connect the positive wire to the positive terminal and the negative wire to the negative terminal for each speaker channel.
6. Power on your home theater system: Ensure that your amplifier or receiver is powered off before making any connections. Once all the connections are made, power on your amplifier or receiver.
7. Test the speakers: Play some audio through your home theater system and verify that sound is coming from each speaker. Adjust the volume and equalizer settings as needed.
