Simply connect the Mini USB cable to the camera and the charger, and then plug the charger into a power source. When the camera indicator light is red, it means the camera is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the camera light will go out. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before using the camera for the first time. Please note that if the red light flashes quickly while charging, it indicates that there is no battery installed or the battery is not properly in place.
