To connect your speakers to the Harman Kardon AVR 171 receiver, follow these steps:
1. Identify the speaker terminals on the back of the receiver. They are labeled with the corresponding speaker channels (e.g., Front Left, Front Right, Center, Surround Left, Surround Right, etc.).
2. Strip the ends of your speaker wire to expose the bare wire.
3. Insert the positive (+) wire into the corresponding positive (+) terminal on the receiver and tighten the terminal xxxx to secure the wire.
4. Insert the negative (-) wire into the corresponding negative (-) terminal on the receiver and tighten the terminal xxxx to secure the wire.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each speaker, ensuring that you connect the correct speaker wire to the corresponding speaker channel on the receiver.
6. Once all the speakers are connected, double-check the connections to ensure they are secure.
7. Turn on the receiver and follow the setup instructions in the user guide to configure the speaker settings and optimize the audio performance.
