To connect your speakers to the Harman Kardon AVR 161 Audio-Video Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Identify the speaker terminals on the back of the AVR. They are labeled with the corresponding speaker channels (e.g., Front Left, Front Right, Center, Surround Left, Surround Right, etc.).
2. Strip the ends of your speaker wire to expose the bare wire.
3. Insert the bare wire into the corresponding speaker terminal on the AVR. Make sure to match the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals correctly.
4. Tighten the speaker terminal screws to secure the wire in place.
5. Repeat the process for each speaker, connecting them to their respective speaker terminals on the AVR.
6. Once all the speakers are connected, make sure to position them according to the recommended speaker placement guidelines in the user manual.
7. Test the speaker connections by playing audio through the AVR. Adjust the speaker levels and balance as needed using the AVR's settings.
