To connect the LG LAS855M Curved Sound Bar to your TV, you can use the HDMI or optical input. Here's how:
1. HDMI Connection:
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI Out port on the sound bar.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on your TV.
- Make sure the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature is enabled on both the sound bar and your TV. This allows the sound bar to control the volume and power of your TV.
- Select the HDMI input on your TV that is connected to the sound bar to hear the audio.
2. Optical Connection:
- Connect one end of an optical cable to the Optical In port on the sound bar.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the Optical Out port on your TV.
- Set the audio output on your TV to "Optical" or "Digital Audio Out" to send the audio to the sound bar.
- Select the optical input on the sound bar to hear the audio.
