To connect your speakers to the AVR 1610, you will need to use speaker cables. Each speaker should be connected to the AVR's speaker output terminals using two wires, one positive (+) and one negative (-). The positive terminal on the speaker is usually colored red, and the negative terminal is usually black. The AVR uses binding-post speaker terminals that can accept bare-wire cables or banana plugs.
To connect the speaker cables, follow these steps:
1. Strip the insulation from the ends of the speaker cables to expose the bare wire.
2. Insert the bare wire into the hole in the middle of the terminal cap on the AVR's speaker output terminal. Make sure the positive wire is inserted into the positive terminal and the negative wire is inserted into the negative terminal.
3. Tighten the terminal cap to secure the speaker cable in place. Repeat this process for each speaker.
It is important to make sure that the positive and negative wires do not touch each other or the other terminal, as this can cause a short circuit. Make sure to connect each speaker to the correct corresponding terminal on the AVR.
