To install the Mr. Heater F242010 Golf Cart Heater in your golf cart, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the heater is cool to the touch before installation.
2. Attach a 1 lb. disposable propane cylinder to the heater by screwing it clockwise into the portable heater until hand-tight.
3. Place the cylinder and heater in an upright position during operation.
4. Check the cylinder connection for leaks by applying soapy water to the threaded connection. Look for bubbles, listen for hissing sounds, feel for extreme cold, or smell for a rotten egg odor. Do not use if there are any signs of leaking.
5. Once the cylinder is securely attached, you can proceed with operating the heater.
To operate the Mr. Heater F242010 Golf Cart Heater:
1. Depress the "ON" button to light the pilot flame. Repeat until the pilot lights and continue to hold the button for 30-60 seconds.
2. After the pilot is lit, release the "ON" button to light the heater.
3. Adjust the heat output by turning the variable heat control xxxx to your desired setting.
4. To shut off the heater, press the "OFF" button.
5. After turning off the heater, allow the wire guard to thoroughly cool before storing.
