To connect your NEC VT470 Digital Video Projector to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure both the projector and the computer are turned off.
2. Locate the computer's video output port. This is usually a VGA (Video Graphics Array) or HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port.
3. Connect one end of the appropriate video cable (VGA or HDMI) to the video output port on your computer.
4. Connect the other end of the video cable to the corresponding input port on the projector. The VT470 projector has VGA and DVI-D input ports.
5. If you are using a VGA cable, tighten the screws on both ends of the cable to secure the connection.
6. Turn on the projector and the computer.
7. On the projector's remote control, press the "Input" button to select the input source corresponding to the port you connected the cable to (e.g., VGA or DVI-D).
8. The projector should now display the computer's screen. If not, you may need to adjust the display settings on your computer.
